Be Yourself

There are 3 challenges I want to enter this card in Addicted to CAS their code word is BIRDS and they are having a DT call.  I am keeping my fingers crossed. 

I started this card by embossing the birds from a folder that I have had in my stash for a while and I have never used before. I seem to be doing a lot of that lately. Which is good for my pocket book, and my mojo. You see sometimes I get caught up in doing more shopping than crafting with what I have.  What better way to use what you have than to be challenged and inspired by others. 

I inked up the top of the card with distress ink Tumbled glass and Broken China. I stamped the sentiment (again in my stash for a while and never used) in Versafine onyx black and embossed with clear powder. 

 The bird die I have used before  (yea) I die cut it out of another card I was working that didn't turn out so well. (what a way to use your stash lol ) it is inked with Distress Ink's  ripe persimmon, spiced marmalade, and rusty hinge to create an hombre orange.

The other place I want to link up to is Casual Friday's 4th birthday with the specific colors of Black, White, Orange and Turquoise. Which happens to be Addicted to CAS sponsors this challenge.. How fun is that. What better way to CELEBRATE  than by being yourself!! By the way they are also having a sale on the their Stamps.. go check it out and buy something.
