Just Believe

Hey there... sorry it's been a little while.. seems like my life is full as I am sure your's is as well with the Holidays. I just wanted to share the cards I made for my co-workers. I made 30 of them and it was so much fun. If you are a crafter I don't need to tell you my reasoning for not throwing anything away. ( I can see all your heads nodding ) LOL. I have had these lids in my stash for a long time.. I always told my self I would make ornament for my tree with them. Well that didn't happen. Then here comes Christmas and what do you get for #30 co-workers without breaking the bank. Well I wanted to get them all the same thing.. but what would that be for different genders and some with kids.. some without..some married some single... then I started thinking and ideas started popping into my head... With the help of my hubby.. this is what transpired.

Cards with matching ornaments. My hubby drilled the holes and painted them all white. While those were drying I was in my craft room.... for days... lol. I cut my card pannel 5x4 got out my MISTI and used all my Tim Holtz brown inks that I had on my wood grain background stamp which was perfect because it covered the whole card. then I die cut the reindeer out of craft card stock 3 for each card. Some I sprayed with sticky adhesive others I backed with double sided tape. Then I did about 5 cards at a time and die cut the dear out of the card. because I wanted the same dear to go back in the same panel it had been cut out of.

I then used a very bright red embossing ink and did the nose and the sentiment.

The ornament dears are stacked 3 high and the believe and the nose was cut out of glitter paper and glued on  and then the sparkly silver string was strung through and tied in a knot.

I found at my local 99 cent store red and white polkadot party bags which came with silver twist ties. I bought white tissue paper and wrapped each ornament up along with the card, which the inside said "Merry Christmas My Friend" it was so much fun. My hubby and I make a excellent team. BTW we got married on New Years Day! Which he is taking me away for 2 days. YIPPY SKIPPY!

I haven't been able to do a challenge in a while so I want to link up to FUSION
And I also want to link up to AS YOU SEE IT
And last but not least Less is More

I hope you enJOYed!
