Over at simplylessismoore.blogspot.com there is a new challenge up: One layer and add an animal.
This card came about quickly.. I love it when that happens.. this frog looks so sad..
a little BLUE-ish green you might say. I stamped him embossing INK and used a dark green powder.
I inked him in distress ink Peacock feathers, Wild Honey and cracked pistachio. I wanted his belly to be more yellow and I love how peacock feathers and pistachio create this beautiful green together. I kept it at an angle to try and make it look kinda like a hill he was sitting on.
I stamped the sentiment in memento Tuxedo black in.
I then got out a background stamp (canvas) and inked it up in embossing ink and clear embossed to give it some texture but to keep it clean and simple.
I want to link up my card to the Less is more challenge http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2015/03/one-layer-week-215.html
