Every gift is from above

I have had this stamp for a couple of years.. and tired to color it using different things and nothing work for me. So back in the drawer it went. Then I took a copic marker class... to get just the basics... I have taking the online class and it is wonderful.. and I have taken other classes and they were awesome.. but I still didn't get it. Then I took this class and it is just the basics and then something clicked in my brain.. and then this image popped in my head.

I wanted to make a card for my Aunt ( I have a few ) but this is the sister of the one in my last post. I wanted her to know how I felt about her and what she means to me. She is a gift from God to me she is my dad's twin sister.. so I call her my female father (they get a kick out of that). She doesn't have any kids of her own so my cousins and I are her children.. and she treats us as such.. She is a blessing.

I love how this came out (not to toot my own horn or anything) but I think it finally clicked. The only thing I would like to have gone back to do.. is blend out the blue a little bit more. I wish I would have taken a picture of the inside of the card. It was an explosion card.. and it simply said "you are my perfect gift"

I want to link up to Never Before Used Stuff #5

so my never before used stuff is my stamp (since technically I never really made anything with it )

Hope you enJOYed
Thanks so much for stopping by
Sincerely

  7. What a treasure this will be for your female father! She will treasure it forever! I know how frustrating it is trying something again and again and then how elated I was when at last it all came together between the hand and the brain!! Way to persevere, LesLee! Your coloring is really superb on this!

Thank you for playing in my NBUS Challenge #5! Because I'm helping in my husband's recovery, I'm terribly late in commenting. Thank you for understanding! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
