Watercolor Rain

I wanted to use my  Zig Kuretake Gansi Tambi water color  set that my darling hubby bought me for valentines day... ( I'll take craft supplies over flowers any day.. except when they are delivered to my work... that is the best). I use 140b water color paper and heat embossed the always stamp with clear powder. I have never used this stamp before, it has been in my stash for evah! (like 10 years)  I know I know.. but I am getting better about using what I have. I am just glad craft supplies don't follow under the clothes rule.. you know... " if you haven't worn it in a year get rid of it".

I then I added water to my card to get the paper wet. I wanted a rainbow effect so I just went in that order. Blending as I went along.. These water color's are fabulous.. like butter I tell ya.. smooth. Then I let that dry. I found a sentiment that I thought would go perfect with the always.

and Inked it in Ranger archival ink and heat embossed clear over the top of it to give it that shine and to dry it since it takes a while. I then added wink of stella to the letters of the always

and added glossy accents as water drops to make it look like rain.. after all to get to see a rainbow you have to have a little rain. The inside of the card says "Rain or shine" but the sun had set and I couldn't get a good picture.

I want to link my card up to Game # 34 Watercolor Rain at AAAcards

Hope you enJOYed
